Flower Power

A very simple pleasure I have made part of my life for years is buying fresh flowers. Here in Okinawa, you can get quite beautiful flowers for under 500 Yen. I capitalized on the exchange rate and bought them weekly. Flowers bring me joy. They brighten up a room and remind me to enjoy even the simplest of things. Here are some of the flowers I bought that made my days brighter and more enjoyable.

I always love when people buy me flowers but I also recognize the value in buying myself flowers and albeit thanks to the song line "...I can buy myself flowers..." I will miss finding such beauty at the local San-A or Aeon.
